Gears & Drive Systems, Inc. is an independent, Manufacturers Representative organization that was founded in 1984 and is located in suburban Philadelphia. The main office location occupies 1,300 square feet in a modern office complex. At this location, as well as at our other two regional locations in Douglassville, PA and Parkton, MD, the company uses state-of-the-art communication systems, computers, e-mail, and facsimile machines. The telephone system in our main office is equipped with three incoming telephone lines and the capability for expansion to six lines. The main office location is surrounded by various manufacturing and warehousing facilities and has easy access to interstates, turnpikes, state and local roadways, and major trucking lines. The office complex has provisions for daily pick up of Federal Express, Airborne, and United Parcel Service.

The employees of Gears & Drive Systems, Inc. are experienced specialists in all phases of Power Transmission equipment including motors, variable frequency drives, gear reducers, couplings, brakes, chain sprockets, V-belts, bearings and control panel systems. Our experienced sales force has combined experience of more than seventy-five (75) years in this electro/mechanical field.

Stephen DiPietro, CPMR, president and founder of Gears and Drives, serves as Past-President of the Power-Motion Technology Representatives Association (PTRA). He is a graduate of the MRERF sponsored Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative course conducted at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Gears & Drive Systems, Inc., enjoys an annual sales volume of $7,000,000 per year and services a customer base consisting of eighty (80%) percent diversified OEM's, fifteen (15%) percent distribution, and five (5%) percent users and engineering consultants. Over 500 customers of the above mix are solicited by our outside sales force on a regular basis.
